Don’t believe me. Here’s what teachers said after attending:

“Completely changes the way I think about representing equations!! Love the bar models!”

“This will change the way I teach tomorrow! Coefficient work is critical right now for my classes! The language and modeling ties in perfectly to representations in previous grades. ”

“Great information. will definitely be using this in class.”

“The session was super valuable in confirming my thoughts that students should have more practice connecting visuals to abstract models. I loved every moment of it.

“This session was incredibly insightful. I am leaving with ideas that I can implement in my classroom immediately.”

“Super engaging and so relevant to what the content is. Excited to try these new ideas.”

How It Started:

When I first stepped into the classroom, I had one goal: to help my students believe that math could make sense. But it didn’t take long to realize that many of them had already resigned themselves to the idea that they’d never be “good at math.” That was unacceptable to me.

Using strategies that made my students feel valued, safe, and resilient, I watched their confidence and abilities flourish. By showing them that mistakes were a natural part of the learning process, something incredible happened: their scores and attitudes shifted dramatically. My grade 6 students achieved a 48% increase in standardized test scores, and grade 7 students achieved an astonishing 62% increase. But here’s the thing, it was never just about passing the test.

It was about giving my students the tools, the language, and the visual representations they needed to prove that they understood math deeply.

Those systems and strategies turned my classroom into a district-level model for success. They earned me accolades like Teacher of the Year and Co-Teaching Team of the Year. And while it felt great to be recognized, my proudest moments were seeing the perseverance of students solving problems they once thought were just for the "smart kids."

How It's Going:

Fast forward to today. For over a decade, I’ve partnered with more than 80 middle school teachers, working together to create classrooms where mastery isn’t just a possibility, it’s an expectation. The results speak for themselves:

  • 87% of partnerships resulted in increased student mastery.

  • 91% of teachers report greater engagement and deeper understanding in their students.

Through more than 40 professional development sessions, I’ve shared practical, no-fluff strategies that teachers can implement immediately. These aren’t just theories, they’re tools that work in real classrooms, with real students. As the founder of Sincerely, A Math Student LLC, I am on a mission to clear the fog that too often surrounds math instruction. I help teachers turn misconceptions into "aha" moments that clarity and extend student thinking.

Why This Matters for You:

I’ve been where you are. Scrambling to cover every standard. Questioning why students don’t retain what they learned last week. Feeling like there’s never enough time to teach everything and still make math meaningful.

But I’ve also discovered what works.

That’s why I created this webinar to share the same strategies I used to move from overwhelm to impact. I want to show you how to make math click for your students, how to build their confidence, and how to teach lessons they’ll actually remember. Trust me, this isn’t about working harder. It’s about working smarter.
