The Reality...
Here's what's happening:
You're carrying the weight of those math scores every single day.
You know improvement is non-negotiable. Your superintendent knows it. Your school board knows it. Your teachers know it. But no one ever showed you how to connect class observations to the results you're responsible for.
So you keep focusing on pacing and classroom management because that's what feels familiar, even though deep down you know those aren't the levers that actually increase math achievement.
You walk into classrooms, you see students engaged, and the teacher working hard.
Then the assessment data comes in, and it tells a completely different story.
You know something needs to improve. You believe you have good suggestions, but when you sit down with teachers, you end up offering feedback that feels too general or too vague to make a difference.
So everything stays the same.
It's uncomfortable.
You're supposed to be the instructional leader, but you're constantly thinking:
"How do I actually help teachers improve?"
"What am I even supposed to look for in a math lesson?"
"What am I missing during instruction that's keeping our scores flat?"
The truth is, you're carrying the responsibility for outcomes you were not trained to influence.
Not because you're not capable, but because you were never trained to see what actually drives math achievement.
In reality, most observation protocols weren't designed for math.
They focus on teacher behavior and student behavior, all of which matter, but none of which tells you whether or not students are building mathematical reasoning.
That's the gap. And it's costing your students the instruction they deserve.
Now is the time...
...to flip the "you have to be a math expert to lead math teachers" narrative once and for all.
Now, we make it about YOU, and YOUR strengths.
This isn't about fixing you. This is about equipping you.
Strong instructional leadership isn't innate. It's a learned system.
And now it’s your time.
Who is this for?
✓ School-based Instructional Leaders who know their feedback isn't landing, but aren't sure how to make it more math-specific without needing to become a math content expert themselves.
✓ Principals and Assistant Principals who walk into classrooms, take notes, and then struggle to turn observations into clear next steps that actually change instruction.
✓ Instructional Coaches who are tired of the cycle: give feedback → nothing changes → scores stay stagnant → repeat.
✓ Math Leaders who are ready to build a feedback culture where math teachers ask for your input instead of dreading it.
✓ Principals who want to empower their leadership team with a repeatable observation system that makes feedback consistent, actionable, and tied to student reasoning across your entire school.
The state testing window is closer than you think.
If your feedback doesn't improve now, instruction won't shift in time to make a difference.
Limited spots available before February 28, 2026.
What’s Included?
This customized, 1-on-1 coaching experience designed to give you a repeatable system for leading math instruction with clarity and confidence, starting the same week.
Part 1: The Pre-Session Survey (Before We Meet):
Get an outside expert's eyes on your current class observation system to identify what's working well, missteps, and blind spot. You'll receive a customized audit of your observation approach so our session is tailored to your current reality, not generic theory

In our live virtual, 1-on-1 or group session, you'll walk away with:
A Customized 30-day Action Plan to break down your new feedback system into bite-sized, weekly actions you can implement without overwhelming yourself or your teachers. Start the very next day with clear priorities for the next 4 weeks.
Customized Class Observation Forms with math-specific look-fors so you can confidently lead math instruction, even if you're not a math expert, because you'll know exactly what to listen for, ask, and capture during class visits.
Clarity on how to spot misalignment during lessons so you can identify the difference between compliance (students following steps) and reasoning (students understanding why) to catch instructional breakdowns before they snowball into achievement gaps.
Tailored guidance for replacing outdated feedback habits with a clear, repeatable process so that every math teacher receives consistent, actionable feedback tied to student reasoning.
Space for Q&A, real-time troubleshooting, and practical application to your current school, teachers, and classrooms
Part 3: The Follow-Up Call (The Accountability Check-In):
30-45 days after the strategy session, we'll reconnect for a follow-up call to celebrate what's working and course-correct what's not. We will refine your observation-feedback approach based on what you've learned and based on real feedback from your teachers.

Meet Your Coach: Nakasha Kirkland
Hi! I’m Coach Kasha and I understand the challenges of supporting math instruction when class observations aren’t producing real change. Since 2018, I’ve been helping school leaders and teachers bridge the gap between planning, teaching, and the kind of feedback that fosters a culture of achievement. My passion for building clarity, trust, and results in middle school math led me to create The Math Feedback Reset, a strategy session that gives leaders the tools to turn every class observation into meaningful growth.
Are you ready to walk into every class observation confident that
your feedback will directly influence student achievement?
